Spotly, Mobile Travel App
Project Overview
Spotly is a travel app designed for iPhone 8 mobile devices. I made this project following the briefing requirements based on the final achievement of the Intro to UI design course I completed at the end of 2020.
My Role
User interface and visual design.
Tools
Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects.
The app design consists of five mobile screens:
- Welcome screen
- Login screen
- Destinations screen
- Destinations article screen
- Open menu screen
The app allows users to sign-up, log-in and read articles about different travel destinations.
Registered users can view the articles, like them, comment on them and share them.
Mood Board
I designed the app logo, I selected colors, typography and imagery.
The logo is adapted in the following sizes:
- 152-iPad
- 120-iPhone
- 80-Spotlight
- 58-Settings
Sign up and sign in into the app to access the advanced options.
Target Users
Group of young adults to adults who are seeking to travel through the eyes of other people’s unique experiences. Users who want to feel something different in their day to day life can browse through the Destinations page, read articles and comments to gather inspiration and plan their trip.
Artist integrity is important to these users, so they also want to make sure the authors and photographers are credited.
